The Apple Store
Ok, so I am about to buy a used iPhone 5, now I have a choice between two that have the same price, one is a 32GB in fair condition, and the other is a 16GB with AppleCare+ in fair condition, now, I want to sell for the 5S, but my question is, which would be better in resale? Both of them I plan on swapping for refurb models at the Genius Bar.

16gb is 200 and 32gb is 300

would depend on the value the buyer puts on apple care. Not everyone buys or wants apple care+.

Ok, so you recommend the 32GB? Also, what I'm worried about with the 32GB is that since there is no accidental damage protection on it, I might not be able to replace it.

heres a great notion buy a 30 dollar descent case for your 32gb , and take care of your personal computing mobile cellular communication device.

Are they both broken? It is true that with the AppleCare+ they will replace it, but it will cost $50 and they won't just replace it for cosmetic purposes. There would need to be something wrong with be phone. Now you could just drop it and crack the screen then get a replacement. I just don't see the reason. I would go for the 32.

I thought Applecare did do cosmetic exchanges

Ok, the 16 is in better condition then the 32, here are pictures of each:
All I'm asking is which one is worth more
