iPhone 4 cause it's newer faster and better, can't wait until next Tuesday when I get it in the mail :)

iPhone 4 definitely. Newer, faster, better display, beautiful design, I like it a lot better than the 3GS.

If 3GS had the Retina display, I'd have kept it. The iPhone 4 is a calamity! With its proximity sensor, antenna, wifi, home button, yellow display and many other issues. I replaced 3 phones. Really, the amount of faulty iPhone 4s is amusing.

4. I already had the 3. The 4 in my opinion gives me every reason to why I don't need the 3 or want it in that matter.

O'Rly?

Hmmm, I must have gotten a magical week 22 iP4 over three months ago.

As to the OP iP4 all the way, it's a no brainer.

Assuming you're going to get tied to a 2 year service plan, why would you buy a phone that's already 16 months old (3GS) before you even start

Yes the 3GS is a nice piece of kit but since i handed mine down to my wife (when i got the 4) its simply not even close to... the display and feel of the iPhone4 is miles ahead of the 3GS .

Don't waste your time ... given the long-term total cost of ownership spend the extra money and get a 4

What a lot of *****.

iPhone 4

And here are a couple of reasons...

1. Retina Display
2.... wait, should I really continue?

iPhone 4

For the $100 difference you get twice the storage, a better screen & camera, HD video, more ram and processor power, facetime.

Do you need to look the phone over to make sure the one you got doesn't have an issue? Yes, you do. For whatever reason I believe that the camera issues are the most prominent. Whoever made these custom cameras for Apple has had some production issues. Find a blank wall, white if possible, and take a photo. Look for a green spot or other anomaly.

The proximity sensor issue was fixed with the last software update and I haven't seen or heard of a true yellow screen after the launch day people were reporting it. The issue was that the screen coating hadn't dried yet.

I've got the iPhone 4 and haven't looked back. I haven't had any of the issues listed below at all. But you also have to understand, people that are happy don't complain. So you only hear from those with problems. Just something to take into consideration when looking between the two.
