Whining SD Card (slot?)

If I leave my camera's SD card in my PB for too long it starts to emit a high frequency whine.

What are you using to connect the SD card to the PB

But I don't think an SD card is capable of emitting any kind of sound.

2 sandisk cards do it (or it is the reader)
