Whirring noise through headphones while scrolling on new MBP

When I am scrolling with the touchpad, I can hear almost a whirring or clicking/ratcheting sound, very faint but fast. It is consistent and occurs only while scrolling.

Anyone else hearing this?

Yeah, you have sensitive headphones. The audio card isnt the best and the noise floor is high. If you want a "black" background (noise floor) get and external audio card. That'll fix it.

I am using the iPhone headphones because of the builtin controls (convenient). I guess the noise is like a really fast racheting sound, faint but audible even with music playing.

Never had any audio issues on my MB a year ago :-/
