i've found a macbook 7,1 (white) with specs:

2,4 ghz (p8600)
2 gb ram ddr3
geforce 320m
10 hours battery

VS

a late 2008 macbook pro unibody with :
2,4 ghz (p8600)
2gb ram ddr3
gefroce 9400m +9600gt
and aprox 4 hours battery....

for the same price!

im gonna use it to produce music.. so the screen plays a lot in my decision but i've seen videos like this one :

where the white macbook is much faster than the macbook pro that tells me to get the white one cos it's 2 years of upgrades and is much faster!

any help here pls??? what are ur opinions???

thanks a lot!

The white MacBook is the better deal, but if you need Firewire, for audio interfaces for example, the MBP is the better choice.

but why's that?? they have the same processor and memory clock!

plus macbook pro has better graphic cards right??

You're right, I thought you meant the 13" MBP, which has no dedicated GPU.

With better deal, I meant battery life and the smaller package. But for you the MBP seems to be the better deal, as you also have a bigger display (15"), thus more resolution to work with. And the Firewire interface of course, which will come in handy for external scratch HDDs or audio modules.
