I remember way back, maybe during the iPhone 4 or 5 days, that making a white bezel front on iPhones is actually harder vs a black one, as any defects on the lamination screen will be visible (while it's not on black bezels, thus easier). I'm not sure how it is today, but considering that Apple is sticking with black bezels on all colors of the SE makes me think they're done with white bezels on iPhones, probably to have better yields and less cost.
