white/bright desktop wallpaper damaging to display?

I have a macbook pro 13' I like bright/white colored desktops, could a all white background damage my display?

i usually wouldn't care to ask this on my desktop because i could always replace the monitor curious if white wallpapers for long term use dim or damage the macbook pro display?
