I’m having a technical issue with my S4 Apple Watch, and hoping someone can provide assistance.

My Apple Watch seemed to be acting noticeably lagging today, so I restarted it. However, after restart it shows a white circle with the apple logo in the middle. I believe this is the screen I have seen when performing a watch OS update. However, I’m getting this screen when the watch is on my wrist versus on a charger. I’ve tried a couple of hard restarts, which bring me back to the same screen. Oddly enough, the watch screen is normal upon reboot, but goes back to the white circle as soon as I enter my passcode. My battery is at 80%, FYI.

Any thoughts?

so it never gets to the actual watch face?
what OS version are you on? both watch and phone
and yes, the only time I see that screen is during OS upgrade ...
is the watch connected to the phone? check bluetooth settings on phone

It gets to the watch face, but goes to that screen as soon as I unlock it. I’m running watch OS 7.2 and IOS 14.3.

I was able to unpair the watch using the watch app on my phone, so it recognized some type of connection. I also confirmed Bluetooth is enabled on my phone.

It let me unpair and I’m setting up as a new watch. Hopefully this is successful
