White Circle/Dot Inside Ear Speaker?????!!!!! I see a white on the speaker. I thought it was dirt, but it's inside. Has anyone else noticed this?

When I first got the 3GS it didn't have this, but it kinda just showed up?

its been there since the first iPhone, its a water censor to determine if it has been wet, if so then you void your warranty. there is a 2nd water censor underneath the 30 pin USB connector, though that one is a long white strip.

Wait, if I see it does it mean it got wet and void ny warrenty because I never got wet.

Wrong. The sensor is located in the headphone jack, not the ear speaker.

my bad, I read ear speaker but I thought headphone jack, there are also 3 sensors next to the Ear Speaker underneath the the glass (you can see them better outside in full sun). its 3 sensors, but I can only remember 1.Proximity sensor and 2.Ambient light sensor. if you see something inside the ear speaker, then idk.

In the headphone jack, there is a white water sensor. There is also one in the dock connector.

NEXT TO the earpiece, there are 3 sensors. They are purple/pink when seen in sunlight.

If you see a white speck inside your earpiece, it might just be lint?
