The last two applications I've installed, GIMP and Thunderbird, have these weird icons in the applications folder. Does anyone here know what that means what I can do about it? Thanks
It just means it is a new application that you haven't opened yet and it will ask you if you installed it when you open it, after you open it for the first time that will go away.
Thanks...they didn't change after I started the applications for the first time, but they did change to the normal icons after I restarted the computer
I think that's a bug in Leopard. I'm not sure. But you don't exactly have to restart to get the oral icon. You can just relaunch the Finder and that will right itself.
And Thunderbird is another mail client by Mozilla. Its like Apple Mail.
