White "Crack" Line on MacBook Pro Screen

Hi,

For the past year I've noticed that I've had this small white "crack" line on my screen, and it seems to be getting longer. Does anyone know what this is? And if it means I'll need to get my laptop fixed?

What model is it? If it is a 2007 or before model, i would just buy a new Macbook. If it is a bit newer, try phoning Apple and see if they would either repair or give you a new one.

I would recommend taking your MacBook Pro to a Genius Bar at an Apple Store (if one is available in your area) or an Apple Authorized Service Provider (or "AASP") to have the issue evaluated and to get an estimate as to what you'd be looking at to have the display assembly replaced or if something like this would be covered under your AppleCare warranty if it is still valid.
