I recently tried to jailbreak my iphone 3gs. But something went wrong. The cydia icon shows up white and when i try to open it the screen flashes and returns to home.

What should i do?

What firmware are you on?

If you are on iOS 5 you'll need to tether boot to fix the cydia issue. Otherwise I'm not sure, have you tried rebooting?
