You mean the startup screen that shows when you power off the iPad by holding down the power button for several seconds? I think I've only done that once since getting the iPad and didn't notice any flashes, but I may not have been paying close enough attention.
I don't see any flashes when just turning it on when the ipad is sleeping, if that's what you mean.
Thanks smart a$$. It's about the size of 3 or 4 pixels and it's next to the apple logo......I'll try to get a video of it

White dots are pixels being born ( no need to worry),
but look out for dead pixels (black dots) as they can haunt your vision.

No offense, but they're there just on boot up. Go into a dark room and turn off your iPad fully and power it back on. You'll see a single white flash in some area of your iPad. I've reproduced this on several iPads.
This happened to me today. COD Zombies took a fart on me after I registered. The sound went out and the game was freezing.
I restarted the iPad and it took a while to boot back up. It actually timed out. I had to press the button again and then I saw the logo again and it booted.
Right before the main screen came up I noticed the "flashing dots", about 2 or 3 near the apple logo.

This morning I stepped on my iPad. thankfully I didn't make a full step on it. Anyways i turned on my iPad and turned it back on and I seen that white specks. I was in a dark room when I seen it. So I'm hoping that is just normal and not something to really worry about.
Haha, no it's not. You're thinking of the multiple-colored line of pixels after using Jailbreakme.com. Greenpois0n didn't cause any such thing. Did Limera1n?
