White I Beam Cursor

I seem to have a weird problem.

In Firefox my cursor when moving over text or a text field changes to a white I beam making it difficult to see in a White background. This same issue occurs when I use the editor in Eclipse where it completely diappears.

However, Its fine in Safari.
