My ip4 suddenly showed these white icons in about 7 apps, half of which i downloaded from the store. Respring or reboot wont solve this problem. I've tried reinstall sbsettings and downloading new apps then respring, but wont work.

I don't have any themes or visual mods. Last thing I did before the icons went white was installing cleanstatus, which is alrady uninstalled.

If I download the same app qwith white icon again it will show correctly, but I'd like to know how I can fix this.

I ran into this just yesterday with my jailbroken Verizon iPhone, and it took me a while to figure it out. What I did was sync with iTunes to back them up, and removed the apps, then put them back on and re-synced. All is well now and the icons aren't white. I don't have any themes or visual mods either.

Iwipecache will take care of this (from cydia), as will a few reboots
