White Iphone 4.0 Death Grip issue

Hi All

This is my first post so please be gentle.

I recently bought a white iphone 4.0 on the 3 network and although the signal does fluctuate a bit in general it is good, however i did notice that if i hold the phone in my left hand for a few seconds the signal progressively drops until it comes up searching having lost all signal.

Has anybody else had this issue, as i understood apple were supposed to have fixed the deathgrip issue.

They didnt.
They fixed the prox sensor but not the antenna issue.

P.S. Just call it an iPhone 4. 4.0 makes us think you're talking about firmware which wouldn't make any sense seeing as how they shipped with 4.3. You had me very interested for a minute.
