I have seen that several White iP4 users had issues with either their screen shield affecting their proximity sensors and/or cases such as the otterbox not properly shutting off the screen. I have made several attempts to figure out the reason why...

I had several types of screen shields and none of them worked. I currently have a Ultra Crystal Clear shield from SGP installed. I ended up cutting out a portion of the screen shield where the proximity sensor is located. I then made an appointment with Apple and had them take a look at the issue. Apple Tech stated that the White iP4's proximity sensor is highly sensitive and stated that better than the black and previous generation iPhones (reply with your 2cents). At this time, I have not seen any info out there that consumers such as SGP, Switcheasy, etc will update and re-design their screen shields Apple Tech stated that Power Support was the only brand that would not affect the proximity sensor. In all honesty, everyone has their own choice what to utilize...

I would like to see who out there has similar issues or had issues, what you did to resolve the issue or whatnot and share your thoughts...
