White iPhone 4 question

I recently broke my black iPhone 4. Fortunately, I have insurance so I was able to fill out a claim and my new iPhone is on its way. I should receive it on the 27th or 28th.

Since the white iPhone is rumored to be released this week, do you think I could take my brand new black iPhone 4 into an Apple Store and exchange it for a white version? I'm not sure what the return policy is, especially since I didn't actually buy it from the store.

i highly doubt they will allow you to do a swap for a new phone.

Your best bet would be to sell the current phone and use that money to purchase the new one. Good luck!

The only time they would allow that is if they were going to exchange your phone anyway and they were all out of black ones.

They'll never give you a different color for your convenience.
