White Iphone 4 spotted in the wild

So I swear I'm not crazy. I think I saw a white iPhone 4.

I was at the Ikea in College Park, MD and I saw a girl using it.

Here's what I know:

-It had the external antennae which is how I know it was an iPhone 4
-I saw the "iPhone" lettering on the back which led me to think that it wasn't a case or a protector of some sort.
-IT WAS WHITE

I realize I could have been wrong, but I am 95 percent confident about what I saw.

I should have followed the girl and talked to her (after all, if you're using a white iPhone 4, you do so with the expectation that people will ask you about it.) But I didn't and I now regret it.

Is this even possible? are there any other reports like this?

There are ways to make your iPhone white and make it look exactly the same as the real one (with the text and all). Probably if your in California you saw the real deal. Apple made a bunch of white iPhones for the WWDC if you saw any demos everybody was using a white iPhone to demo. They were probably then given to Apple Employees etc. Maybe the person you saw was an Apple Employee. It's not like their hiding it or anything like a prototype, all demos were used with the white one, just manufacturing issues.
 
Not really surprising. I have one in my hand right now. Have been testing the super secret feature the white iPhone comes with. ;)
 
You could order one of the replacement parts from some of those Chinese websites and manually install it yourself.
 
I saw a guy talking on his white iphone the first day it was launched. We were standing in san jose valley fair mall queue. And he seemed someone from apple.
