White iPhone 5 Users - Question: chamfer edge scratches?

I have a black iPhone 5 and want to potentially get the white one instead. When I was looking at the white one in the store today I notice the "Shiny" edge of the phones has a lot of scratches already. Anyone else noticing this? It seems like the polish job is not seale with a clear coat so it's taking a lot of abuse.

If that's the case I'm just going to switch my damaged black one (nicks straight from the box) for a mint black one and baby it.

Just got back from the apple store today and I saw lots of scratches on the white ones too - less noticeable obviously but sigh...

I haven't noticed this yet. I'm very happy with my white one so far.
