So I was at the Victoria Gardens Apple Store. There was an elderly lady in front of me buying an iPhone. A sales rep came up to her, and she told him she wanted a 64gb 4S.
He said "would that be white or black?"
Her: "White please"
Him: "I figured. Ladies love the white iPhone!"

I couldn't help but bursting out in laughter. Not necessarily because of what he said, but more so because of the ridiculous back-and-forth arguing I've seen on here about whether or not the white iphone is "girly" or not.

So you start a thread, about a topic that has had a lot of arguments lately, with no real information just as bait for trolls to start more arguments? Gotcha

10 Replacements for "cool story, bro."

1) Fascinating discourse, chum.
2) Riveting fable, comrade.
3) Intriguing anecdote, brethren.
4) Perpetuating argument, colleague.
5) Sweet saga, yo.
6) Waste of time, jerk.
7) Spellbinding reiteration, chummy.
8) Phantasmagorical novelization, oh great one.
9) Interesting intellect, imbecile.
10) Ballin' gossip, dawg.

sorry i had to do this :)

My wife bought the white one, and my 12 year old daughter, who inherited my "old" iPhone 4, wants a white case

Since when was perpetuating a synonym of cool, or argument one of story, or even colleague a synonym of bro?

Have a black iPhone 4 now, think the white looks pretty killer and will probably end up getting a white 64 gig 4s in november..

I have no idea where the "girly" and "feminine" association came from with the white ip4..Just looks like a clean, sleek piece of equipment.

I really don't think you deserved all those down votes for this post. Like you said, it's just something you thought was funny. It's not like you were obviously trying to troll or something. Here, I'll even say something relevant:

When my dad saw my white iPhone last night, the first thing he said was "oh how girly". The first thing I thought of was the arguments about it here on MacRumors.

Trolls usually work together by defending earlier troll posts.

Someone says "apple customers are idiots and mindless sheep!" in order to bait people into a flamewar.

Then people respond and more trolls join and say "sounds perfectly true to me! I don't know why people don't like what you said..."

After having black iPhones everytime, I really like the white better.

It reminds me of the classic Apple iPod and iMac look.

I did it not only because my last two iPhones were black, but because I (along with pretty much everyone who was at the Apple launch) am deceiving myself into thinking this is a new design or something. Kind of a pitiful attempt, but it works for the most part.
