if you read that craigslist, the person says that its Authentic and that the phone comes with a 1yr Apple warranty.

If he had just made the phone white with aftermarket back and front plates, then the warranty would be void so that rules that out.

I couldn't think of anything else other than that he somehow got ahold of the White iPhone that is supposedly releasing soon.

Anyway jokes aside, it sounds like this is just an aftermarket change the seller has made and is saying it's original to attract a higher price.

If you are looking to buy a white iPhone 4 there are rumors strongly indicating the white iPhone 4 will be released by the end of this month. So hang in a little longer and you may be able to get an original white iPhone 4.

I think there's a misunderstanding. I thought the person that said "pics or didn't happen" was debating that there was a listing on craigslist so I said that the link was there proving the listing was real.

If you read my first post in this topic you can see that I said this isn't an indication of a white iPhone 4 and probably just been swapped with aftermarket parts.
