White iPhone more expensive? (o2 UK)

Just been into my local o2 shop to be told that the white iPhone is about £100 more expensive than the black iPhone, whichever contract I choose.

She arrogantly explained this by saying, "Do you have any idea how long its took them to perfect the white?"

I said yes, and explained that i'm just going to wait for the iPhone 5.

She said that it wasn't coming out, and they "even she" hasn't been told about it.

I couldn't be bothered entertaining her so I left, but still was a bit shocked to see the white iPhone more expensive.

Don't you just hate that attitude some people have in Phone shops and the way they talk down to you like they know everything and more about the handset, winds me right up

I always end up baffling them with stuff they really wont know about and end up looking like a right geek, but it puts them in there place and shuts them up.

They sound like a bunch of chancers. Three UK offer it for the same price as the black.
