I noticed the pic of the new white iPhone 4 has a second hearing slot where the black only has one. Is their a reason for this and are their any other differences in the new white iphone than the black?

I use a 3GS and am about to upgrade so notice these things. Also the hearing volume on phone calls is too low in the 3GS. Is it any louder on the iphone 4?

Thanks

the "second hearing slot" is actually a proximity sensor that turns the screen off when you put your face up to the phone while on a call.

Which is semi-invisible on the black version, in the same manner as a black dog is almost invisible in a black room with a black carpet and black wallpaper - see? :)

just tried my wifes new white iphone and yes the volume is way lower in a call situation than on my year old black one.

Anyone got an answer for this?
