Anyone please help me.

I plugged in my iphone to charge and all of a sudden a white horizontal line appeared and will not go away.

I took a screenshot but the line did not appear in it so im assuming its my lcd.

I have rebooted the phone, but not yet tried to restore it, which is what I'm about to do.

Any one have any experience with this? Thanks.

OMG i just realized that if i restore, is it going to update to the new 3.1.3 firmware??

I cannot do that right now since i hav a jailbroken iphone and i know there is no jailbreak for 3.1.3!!

Will it update it if i restore??

if you cicked restore it gives you the option to cancel or update (newest version 3.1.3) and restore if you clicked that then your out of luck

Can I do the 'hold down the option button then click restore and choose the current firmware 2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw ?

Will that restore but at the same time keep my current firmware?

If not, is there any way to restore without updating to 3.1.3?

you can restore it to that firmware as long as you have 3.1.2 ipsw on your computer.....it should work.....

oh i know that, but either way I need to have it restored when i take it to the apple store for repair or replacement.
