White line down middle of screen

So I have a friend that just got a iPhone 4s Verizon.. And while she was using it a white line showed up down the middle of the screen. Has anyone else had this issue? She has down a reset and nothing still there. Seems like it showed up after she activated and starts using the phone.

Lol no she was on a call and after she hung up she saw it just magically appear.. Her volume on the ear piece is really low as well has to use speaker to hear anyone.. Has a appointment at the genius bar tomorrow will update.. Just wanted to see if anyone else had the issue

Verizon adds this as a feature. It's to help measure the length of your text messages.

I've got about a 1/2 inch band that goes across the middle of the screen. It's not really a line, just an area that is a little lighter than the rest of the screen. I notice when scrolling down on webpages and forum apps. Gonna have to replace it.
