I just bought a iphone off a friend it works 100% , but there this one white line up top above the status bar. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it. I think they are dead pixels.

Can you post the pictures? Then I might be able to help.

I couldnt get my hands on my camera , but basically if you were to look at it , thats what it looks like.

Maybe the LCD isn't in secure enough and there's light seeping through? Totally guessing.

If it's a dead pixel, I'm afraid you WILL have go to the Apple Store (and only Apple Store) and have the iPhone replaced.

It doesn't come up in this screen shot . So i guess its my lcd :-/ do you guys think if I un jailbreak my phone and take it to the genius bar they would replace/fix it even if I don't have a at&t account? "My carrier is T-Mobile not metro lol fake carrier"

They might do. If they won't they won't, if they will they will. All depends on who you get on the day.

Whatever happens it's not as if they're going to take your iPhone off you, so you've nothing to lose.
