Hi everyone!

I´ve had white lines/disturbances like in the pic on my monitor every now and then for some time now. Sometimes less intense, like in the pic, sometimes they cover the whole screen. They always go away after some time.

I´ve tried switching the monitor off and waiting for a few minutes but that doesn´t help.

Does anyone know what it could be? Graphic board related?

Thanks!

Are there any magnetic disturbances around the monitor? I don't know if that would be a mangetic issue, but just a thought. If so, there's a way to demagnetize the screen through it's menu.

You may be able to isolate the problem by plugging that screen into another computer or trying another monitor on your current setup. That'll let you know if its coming from the computer or from the monitor.

Also unplug the montior and plug it back in....it could be a bad connection.

It´s definitely not a magnetic issue. Tried that already.

Un- and replugging of the monitor doesn´t help.
Plugging it to another computer isn´t too meaningful, as the disturbances come and go randomly.

How do I reset the vram?

If it´s the video board going out, there´s not much I can do about it, is there?
