White mac book? Or iMac?! HELP!

so i was going to get the white mac book for my recording studio. than i was going to get a samsung syncmaster 953 BW 19 inch LCD monitor which is around $189. Than i was abviously going to hook that to the macbook.

So i was thinking id get more juice for my dollar if instead i just bought a 20" iMac. I would only be spending $11 more than my origanal setup. I was wondering if anyone new of a way i could spend my money more convieniently?

Same answer. I had a MacBook Pro, I needed a laptop for exams, but other than that, it always stays in my apartment. So I decided to sell it and get an iMac. Much better! My back hurts less, and it's all around much more comfortable to use.

I now have a cheap PC laptop that I got for $150 just for exams.
