Dear All,

I was searching the website and the white macbook that apple.com has is 2.1GHz. I was recommend by a friend to buy the white macbook with 2.4GHz, which Apple.com said that was 'previous generation'. Can anyone help me to clarify that? Which one do you recommend?

Also, anyone can recommend some good laptop case? Thank You!

The refurbished one on apple.com looks like a sweet deal. If I were in the market to get a new laptop, I'd go for that instead of the "new" 2.1Ghz MB. I'm 99% sure they are the same. They both have a Superdrive and the refurb actually has more RAM and a bigger hard drive. You got a recommendation I would second. Better scoop it up quick. If you HAVE to have the pretty box, instead of the brown refurb, that's your prerogative.

There's 1 at the top of the page for 949 and another in the "clearance" section that looks exactly the same for 1149 that says previous generation, while the cheaper one does not say that. Not sure what's up with that.
