Hi Guys,
Your advice & help would be invaluable.
I was fixing another probelm so I took all the screws out the bottom of the Macbook (but didnt remove the casing), then removed the battery, took the hard drive out & the ram then put everything back in in the exact order I had removed it (I have since check about 5 times that it is all reconnected properly & appears to be all good).
Since I did this whenever i go to boot the Macbook it makes no start up sound, there is no light on the front of the Mac and the screen is black (have check with a flashlight to see if there is anything on it & there isnt) but I can hear the CD/ optical drive working away. It stays on for about two minutes and then shuts off.
I have tried an SMC reset but still nothing is happening.
If it helps to know, the other problwm i was trying to fix was that what i booted the computer it kept coming up with the questions mark folder, then a cancel sign then would shut off.
I would really appreciate some help on this. Thank you in advance
All The Best
Edd
