I'm looking at getting a MacBook and am wondering how dirty the white one gets. I have the white nintendo ds and I never play with dirty hands and it still has dirt buildup in the edges of the casing over time. any problems like this with the MacBook?

I get a slight browning over time around the palm rest area. This may sound crude but I found clearasil face cleaning pads work very well.:p

I have an ibook and it gets extremely dirty. Every time I put it in my backpack, I have to clean it because it picks up everything.
If you are that worried about dirt, buy a unibody, or a used black macbook.

Both the white and the black MacBooks are easily cleaned with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (the regular one, NOT the foaming one). It cleans them both up quickly.

ha if you are worried about dirt don't get a laptop. it may not pick up dirt but oils will show.

not to mention the screen gets dirty just as fast.

not to say i don't love mine :)

Clean the top case part with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. You can use that on the entire body but it will rub off part of the sheen on the outside casing. Whatever you do, don't use it on the LCD or track pad.
