I'm using a 20" G5 iMac to do some DTP at work. It's annoying having to cart it from home to work everyday in my car, so I'm thinking about getting a refurb 2.1 Macbook for £520. My G5 has a dedicated GPU and handles what I do just fine, although, sometimes can bog down with photoshop open with a big pdf file open.
If I hook it up to an external monitor, do you think the Macbook will be able to handle it with a X3100?
