I just upgraded my MacBook with a larger hdd. But I forgot to put the plastic tray thing back on and the hdd is now stuck. How would I go about getting it out? I really don't want to have to take the laptop apart and it's not under warrenty.

It would be difficult, but you might be able to get it out using some pliers. There is a chance that you damage the drive, however.

I've heard of luck using a strong tape carefully applied to the drive and then you upright your MacBook to let gravity help while you pull on the tape. You would have to search for the exact post(s).
