This problem appears to start randomly.
I'll be typing and the keyboard will randomly select blocks of text and delete it, and move the cursor somewhere different.
Sometimes I can type thousands of words without this happening, sometimes, it happens all the time. Where I position my hands on the keyboard does not effect this, so it seems to have nothing to do with accidentally touching the trackpad.
Any thoughts? It's a 2009 MacBook, so the warranty has expired. Oh it's Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4, and I've installed all of the latest updates. I've also checked the box "ignore accidental trackpad input" and unchecked all keyboard shortcuts in system preferences.
Thanks in advance for any help!
