Hi.

I need to replace my damaged Macbook's Energy Star Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16 GHz Logic board. I understand there are two different types of logic board on the 13.3'' model. The Energy Star version and the non Energy Star logic board. I think I might have found a possible replacement. Can anyone tell me how I check whether the replacement logic board will be compatible with my Macbook - for example is this possible to ascertain by looking at the serial numbers?

Thanks.

Energy Star logicboards have an "EnergyStar" sticker on the RAM holders.

They also have a different battery connector - the pins are arranged in 2 blocks of pins - the non-EnergyStar boards battery connector pins are evenly spaced.

you should be able to see the differences or check with the seller....
