White macbook refresh before OSX lion?

Does anyone have any guesses as too when the white macbook will be updated and if it will be available in any other colours?
also guesses to the hardware are welcome!
With the Macbook Pro 13 inch only being a couple hundred more and the new macbook air, the macbook might be discontinued. Not cost effective for a base laptop.. the 13 inch macbook pro already took that place.. I believe the MacBook is OR will be EOL.
The thing is whenever i go to my nearest store there is an apple rep. trying convince someone to buy a 13" macbook pro rather than the plastic white one.
Could this be a sign that the white macbooks are slowly dwindling out or that the apple store is trying to conserve them or something (lol)
