Can someone post up some proximity sensor troubleshooting? For it not reacting at all?

sharpie fix, etc? (the more heavily detailed the better)

Yeah I would be curious about this too. SanFranKyle did you do your white conversion on a "new" Torx Screw iPhone 4 ? Because apparently they have a much higher sensitivity proximity sensor and thats the cause for the "need" for a fix.
Im curious too about details on those fixes you mentioned. Anybody knows anything ?

edit: I found these two threads : https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1098316/ and https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1096968/

Sharpie Marker.......the wide one works best......you need to color the holes but not completely black just enough so its transparent from the oustide...

The one I use is kind of fat but its oval shaped ...

so youre saying, open up the iphone 4 again, use a black sharpie marker to color the holes a bit (around the holes or do you put the tip of the marker in the hole?) and then close it back up and that should fix it ? :)

open and color it from the inside.
