White Screen after screen replacement on iphone 4

So I repaired my brother in-law's iphone 4 screen and now when it comes on it's just a white screen. I have checked the connectors at lest 100 times and can not get the screen to show up i can't even get the apple Logo to show up I even but it in DFU mode and did a restore and still a no go. here is a pic of

The lcd is damaged/defective. The phone is fine though.

Where you bought this screen? is it original?
It is obviously that the screen wasn't compatible with your phone.
