White Screen in QT

I had FCP installed on my computer. However I removed it a while back and now the files that were in the FCP folder under Capture Scratch are playing with a white screen.

I've imported some movies in iMovie and the movies play back fine but the files imported from FCP have a white screen with just the audio playing.

Does anyone know what's going on? It seems since the QT 7.1 update the FCP imported files don't play correctly...

Edit: I imported the videos on my Sony HDR-HC1 so their high-def
