White Screen no loading, looking for video card

Hey guys, I have a MacBook Pro A1212 in the Z0DR family and like the title says its white screening before it even gets to the loading screen. My boss thinks its a video card issue which in this model should be the ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics processor 256 MB. So if anyone has any details to troubleshoot this issue that would be appreciated, and if anyone knows of a ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 for sale or if another graphics processor would work with this issue that would also be greatly appreciated. So Update, it would seem the Option + Command + P + R is the way that many user have gotten their Mac's to work but for me it restarts but it still goes to the white screen after posting, I hooked it up to an external screen and got no response on that as well.

Correction now its loading to the home page.
