White Screen Problem

Hey Guys,

I just got a used first-gen iphone that supposedly needed a battery replacement. When i powered it on all i got was a white screen with flickering horizontal lines.

After a few resets and restoring through DFU mode i was able to get the phone to function but it still has the white screen problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
