Hello,

I've read some other posts on white screen and they don't seem to cover what's happening with my phone.

When the power completely runs out on it (battery totally flat), and I try to charge it back up again from the mains, the screen goes white. I try switching it off and back on again, and that doesn't seem to help.

The last time, I got a call while this was happening and I couldn't answer it because I couldn't see where the 'answer' thing was on the screen (tried and failed).

To get the screen back again, I have to plug the iPhone into my laptop and go through the whole synching process. Which isn't particularly handy if I'm just out for the day or on holiday.

If I just keep the phone charged, the white screen thing doesn't happen. It's only when it completely runs out of juice.

I've had this phone about two and a half months, and from the outset it's had problems. After four weeks I had to take it to the Apple store because the screen went black and i couldn't see anything on it. They replaced the screen for me, but said 'a quarter' of one of the moisture detectors had changed colour (possibly because I'd used it outside while it was raining) - so while they did the repair for me 'as a favour', the fact that the detector thing had gone off has now invalidated my waranty. I now have the phone in a heavy silicone skin with covers for all the ports. the screen has a protector too.

Would be grateful for any suggestions. Thank you.
