Hi guys
I've browsed this forum for years and finally needed to join.
About a week before Christmas I replaced my iPod touch 4th Gen screen and it all worked well until Christmas eve I pulled it out of my pocket and the screen was completely white. I can control music with my earphones and dock and I have hard reset it and taken it apart and checked the video connection but I didn't get anywhere. I really can't restore it because their are messages I had on there which I can't backup as it is on a 3rd party messaging app (Viber) and when I try to I just get "iPod Touch could not be restored: error (1)".
Any help is appreciated a lot and I apologize if I'm in the wrong section :p
Thanks, Gabriel.

If this helps... I know the video cable isn't in lol It came out when I took the photo
