White/Silver iPhone 6 - Banding Color?

I can't tell and it's not obvious but what color are the bands on the back of the Silver iPhone 6? Every shot makes it out to be a light gray. The gold iPhone clearly has white bands. Is it the same on the Silver? That's one thing that is throwing me.

I am leaning towards the silver phone again but not if the bands are a gray color. Doesn't make sense to me. Any press photos?

I hadn't noted that, that's annoying as it kind of spoils the look. Though I don't think they are that noticeable.

Gives a good idea of how it looks. Not too bad but still not sure honestly. I just really am not a fan of the space gray color. Worst color ever. I prefer black on black.
