I was preparing my Wife's phone to sell, but noticed this white spot on the right side of the screen. No cracks on the device, so is it a pressure mark? The phone still has Apple care, so is it something they may fix? Otherwise I'll have to sell it at reduced which is what it is.

It is either liquid inside the backlight or pressure mark. The spot is roughly where the display flex cables are so it could be an improperly done screw from the metal plate that’s pushing against the screen. That probability depends if the phone was ever repaired or dropped. Either way it will not go away on its own. The screen needs a new backlight.
