White vs. Black, Which one?

I opted for the black, then yesterday I was down at the Apple store and nabbed one of the contour slide cases, I absolutely love it!

I got the 16 gig black and love it. I was gonna go with white like my friend but once i seen the dirt and lint buildup in the cracks of the skin he has on it, Im glad i got black.

I went with 16 GB Black on launch mainly because I couldn't look at the white one and there were no white display models. Now, I'm going to the Apple Store to exchange it due to cracks and light leak. I'm not positive, but I might go with white to try it out.

my friend has the black and honestly it doesn't smudge too much. That being said, I'm glad as he'll I went for the white. The black and chrome looks cool, but white and chrome does too. For me, I don't like having what most people have, so white is perfect for me.

My brother has white and I know he hasn't had to wipe the back of his phone off yet and it still looks shiny.

I have the black and its horrible for finger prints and minor scratches!

I would've gotten white if it were ALL WHITE, not half white half black. From the back just seeing the white, yea it looks good. But look at the white iphone pics taken from the side showing both the white & black surfaces - looks ugly.

Black iPhone, however, is slick & sexy. It's like a black BMW M3 with nice chrome wheels. I use Bodyguardz so my phone is completely scratch/smudge-free.

Go to an Apple Store and check them out. I thought I liked white looking at Apple.com pictures but when I saw them in person, I went for black with no hesitation.

I thought we were done with these threads after the launch... Why are you asking other people what color to buy when you are ultimately the person who is going to have to live with it?? Jesus it's not like you are buying a car here; it's just the color of the back of your phone. If you get the white and someone sees your phone they aren't going to go "Oh My God look at this loser!! He got the white iPhone!!! What a retard!!" and vice versa. If this is the hardest decision you have to make in your life consider yourself very lucky. There are trade-offs for each color. Black shows fingerprints, as much as everyone says it show scratches it really doesn't too badly. White will get dirty as a mofo over time and personally I think it looks stupid with half of it being white and half being black(just my opinion). In the end you are going to have to make this decision like a big boy. It's your phone and you are going to have to live with your decision.
