So I'm sitting here with Oral-B Rembrandt Whitening Strips in my mouth drooling. According to the instructions it says don't swallow. These are my first time using these and I don't want the chemicals in my system. Anyone else use Whitening Strips? Results? Were your results good or bad? Also what brand? I just bought these because they were the cheapest. $14.98 at target.

My fiancée used them briefly...didn't seem to do much. (Not that her teeth were particularly yellow to begin with...)

I can't use 'em... my teeth would turn whiter, but my fillings would not, and my dentist went to great trouble to make each of my fillings color match the teeth they're in.

I've used the Oral-B ones and Crest. Crest seems to be better overall. I used them for 5 days, (instead of the recommended 14), went to the dentist, and the dentist said, "Wow! Did you get your teeth professionally whitened?" and I said, "No, I bought a $20 box of Crest Whitestrips." He was really impressed.

My mom said my teeth were "blindingly white" though. It depends on how yellow your teeth are beforehand, but they definitely do make a difference.

You can swallow your spit. I have and nothing adverse seems to have happened. Definitely don't swallow the strips though!

After thinking about it, it might help to have clean teeth before using them. Like, using them after you haven't brushed your teeth for a month would probably only whiten the gunk on your teeth instead of your actual teeth, lol.
