So basically I was playing the sims and closed the laptop lid so i could resume it at the same place. However the battery completely depleted before i had the chance to.
When i plugged it in again, the computer loaded fine, however when i went to open the sims again it crashed.
Since then the computer will not start. I have ejected the disk but that didnt seem to help. I get to the loading screen with the apple symbol then after about 30mins it changes to just a blueish white screen with the loading spinning symbol. However it never boots up.

Is there anyone who has had anything similar happen who could help me? I was unware that something like this may happen and so i havent backed up any files so i would love to be able to save the computer without loosing all of my files???

Thanks,
Laura
