Who else feels they should be entitled to download Logic9 from the app store?

So I bought a retail boxed copy of logic 9 when it first came out - shouldn't I get the app store version for free? I have a MacBook air and no DVD drive to instal it from...

is it possible to copy the install discs onto an external drive ? what do I do when i'm prompted to insert the next disk ?

You can create disk images from the DVDs and simply mount them in the Finder to install.

Yeah, just select "New Image".
